Can faith be intuitive?

I believe God is intuitive. The biggest reason is, i would like to believe someone knows what we, humans, struggle to discover. I know there are a whole lot of people who will not agree with that statement.

But to give this blog a direction, i would like to start a dialogue with the people who assume God(s); to find if we can have theistic beliefs without accepting as facts, things we havent witnessed....or things that are counterintuitive.

Can such a community start afresh and rediscover God, and rid our minds of contradictions (within religions or with science). The agnosticism which bleeds conviction.

We(in popular belief), had the sun god once and the earth God, the weather God...each with their own chronological entries and exits. While they were buried with the rituals to worship them, the very concept of God seems to have outlived them. I sometimes get a feeling it might be time for us to bury the 'scripture' God now and embrace a more universal one.

Can our null hypothesis be exactly that, null, and we put our minds together and reinvent God? Can we collaborate to discover a new God? Will that stem the tide of hatred around us?
